Fake Happy / Photo by Troy Larson

The FallstownFUSE believes in our Texoma performers! However, we have a very small staff and limited time to cover everything. If you’re a performer and you’d like us to cover/photograph your act, here are some tips to increase your chances.

  1. Subscribe to TheFUSE
Sign up for a free email subscription. It is a pre-requisite for consideration of a photoshoot, and it increases the odds that we’ll shoot your act. Signing up for a paid FUSE subscription makes it even more likely.

  2. Follow TheFUSE on social media
TheFUSE is very active on Facebook and Instagram, too. Follow us on both of those channels.

  3. Interact with TheFUSE
When you’ve subscribed and followed us, interact with TheFUSE, especially here on the newsletter. Like and comment on the things you read. The more we see your name, the more likely we’ll cover you. Comments, and especially shares on social media, can go a long way.

  4. Give us a heads up
Let us know when you have an upcoming performance. There’s a lot happening in Texoma and it can only help to remind us you have a gig coming up.

We consider all of the above-mentioned tips common courtesy. TheFUSE incurs expenses to cover this scene, including fuel, food, and lodging, not to mention online expenses and sheer hours spent shooting, editing, and writing our stories. Doing the things suggested above shows us that performers understand the effort we put in to support this scene, and that they’re willing to support us in return.

That said, coverage is at our discretion, depending on time and situation.

Would you like to secure our guaranteed coverage, prioritized?

  1. Get reviewed
If you have streaming music/video that you’d like us to review, you can hope we get to it, or for a small fee, you can purchase a review, which we’ll then feature here on The FallstownFUSE. (It’s not much, we promise.) Email fallstownfuse at gmail.com or message us on social media.

  2. Invest in a photoshoot
As so many artists have, you can invest in a photoshoot with our photographer, Troy Larson. See his portfolio at TroyLarsonCreative.com, and check out his base prices under Performer Services.

  3. Invest in an EPK
If you don’t have an Electronic Press Kit, you’re at a disadvantage in getting booked. Venues want to see and hear you. Let us create and EPK for you. Email fallstownfuse at gmail.com or message us on social media.

Many of these same principles pertain to visual artists, venues, eateries, and entertainment destinations. The more we see you subscribe and interact, the more likely we are to visit and cover your business!
