Video Premiere: Ratchet Dolls "Take Me Down"
San Antonio band premieres new video on same day as Wichita Falls show
It was April of 2024 the last time San Antonio’s rising hard rock act Ratchet Dolls came to Wichita Falls, to play an opening act slot for local favorites Hellen Bach. On that occasion, they debuted their video on the eve of the show—Loud! Loud! Loud!, the kind of song that makes your foot heavy on the gas pedal.
Now, they’re back in North Texas. As of this writing, they’re headlining a show tonight at The Iron Horse Pub with the devastatingly good New Realm in support. Coincidentally, just like last time, Ratchet Dolls has a brand new video that just premiered today—Take Me Down.
We love everything about this band, song, and video. From the updated sound of the Sunset Strip, great riffs, Kevin Sauceda’s nasty lead vocals, solid backing vocals from the rest of the group, and Sofie Abrams’ smokin’ guitar leads, it’s hard rock the way it should be done. We’d also mention, we love that Ratchet Dolls are having fun, evident by the smiles on their faces. Life is good when the music is good, and Ratchet Dolls make both worth smiling about.
We’d recommend you don’t miss the show tonight, and follow Ratchet Dolls on their YouTube channel. This band is on their way up.
